PURCHASING TICKETS ON-LINE

TERMS & CONDITIONS

When buying e-tickets for the museum, exhibitions and events you are entering into an agreement with The Salisbury Museum on the following terms:

TICKETS

Museum Entrance e-tickets: When you purchase a ticket online for museum entrance you will be sent a confirmation email with details of your ticket purchase. For each ticket you have purchased the ticket holder will be entitled to entry to the entire museum including all exhibitions on the date selected at the time of purchase only. Tickets are not transferable.

Event e-tickets: When you purchase a ticket online for a museum event you will be sent a confirmation email with details of your purchase. For each ticket you have purchased the ticket holder will be entitled to entry to event shown in the email. Tickets are not transferable.

USING YOUR E-TICKET

Please print your confirmation email and present it at the till in the shop on your arrival at the museum to be granted access. If you do not have access to a printer, please make a note of the order number and bring it with you or show us your confirmation email on your phone.

It is your responsibility to check, prior to purchase, that the information you have supplied to us with regards to your e-ticket requirements is accurate. We are only responsible for issuing e-tickets in accordance with the information you provide.

Once purchased neither the date, time nor event for which an e-ticket has been purchased may be changed. Payments for e-tickets are non-refundable. E-tickets are only valid for the date and time stated upon them.

Any additional persons wishing to enter with an e-ticket holder will be required to pay the normal entry rates.

Resale: No e-ticket may be resold without the prior written consent of The Salisbury Museum. If any person attempts to enter an event with an e-ticket that has been resold without The Salisbury Museum's written consent, the museum may refuse entry and no compensation is payable to that person by the museum.

Cancellation: Should cancellation of the event, or any day of the event, be necessary, The Salisbury Museum will attempt to contact all customers who have booked tickets in advance to arrange an exchange or refund of tickets. This contact will be in the form of email, so customers are advised to check their email inbox before visiting the museum to avoid an unnecessary journey should an event be cancelled. If an alternative visit date cannot be arranged, the museum will then refund the full price.

GENERAL INFO

Classes of e-ticket holders
1) Adult: a person aged 16 or over.
2) Child: a person aged from 5 years old to 15 years old (inclusive) Under 5's are free
3) Family: 2 adults and up to 4 children residing at the same address

Disabled Access
The ground floor of the museum is accessible to wheelchairs. To ensure your visit runs smoothly please telephone the museum to let us know when you are coming and for any further help or advice prior to purchasing your e-ticket.

Other Concessionary Entitlement Only full priced tickets can be purchased online, if you have any queries about discounted entry please contact the museum.

Gift Aid
If you have chosen Gift Aid tickets, please confirm you are a UK taxpayer. Please also be aware that you need to have paid an amount of Income and / or Capital Gains tax that is at least equal to the amount of tax that the museum will reclaim on your gift(s) for this tax year.

Unforeseen Museum Closure
If the museum is closed for any reason beyond our control we will allow you to transfer any tickets bought in advance to an alternative date. We suggest you visit our website before leaving home to check we are open.
